  • Green Jobs Training: The Green Impact Zone, EnergyWorks KC and Metropolitan Community College will host free training classes in March and April for deconstruction, lead and asbestos abatement certification, and OSHA-10 safety training for care and handling of hazardous substances.   • Contractor meeting for 5008 Prospect: Blue Hills Community Services is holding a preregistration and informational meeting for construction-related contractors to discuss the renovation of 5008 Prospect. This will be a substantial renovation that will meet LEED Silver Standards. All trades welcomed. City-certified Section 3 business concerns, Section 3 residents, MBE and WBE businesses are strongly encouraged to attend. Preregistration is not mandatory but encouraged.
