U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will visit Kansas City and the Green Impact Zone office today, Wednesday, Feb. 17, for a major Recovery Act announcement.
Rep. Emanuel Cleaver and Kansas City, Mo., Mayor Mark Funkhouser will join Secretary LaHood for the 10:30 a.m. announcement and press conference.
Today also marks the one-year anniversary of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
